No, NCC=20 credit is transferable to virtually all colleges and universities in = the=20 United States that teach such courses for credit. Students will = receive=20 three credits for finite mathematics, or four credits for courses in=20 precalculus and calculus.Schools such as Cal Tech, Harvard, MIT and = the like=20 do not offer precalculus.
However, there = are some=20 schools that do not accept any college credit from high school = students. We=20 know  that many parochial colleges, the University of Rochester, = and=20 Columbia are among this group. It is your individual responsibility to = investigate the transferability of such course to the college or = university to=20 which you believe you will be = attending.


Is there an=20 AP exam in precalculus?

No, there=20 is no Advanced Placement course in = precalculus.


What is the=20 difference between advanced placement and college = credit?=20

Advanced=20 placement credit was created to allow students to begin their studies = at a=20 higher level than  usual. It did not reduce the number of credits = necessary for graduation.
